Last week I posted the commencement address of Steve Jobs at Stanford. This was followed up by Bill Gates on Harvard. Now wouldn't it be interesting to see the two of them together? Would it be like Pacquiao vs Mayweather? Now that would generate a lot of web traffic seeing the two icons on boxing gloves going at it in boxing ring. Or better yet they square it out ala UFC. Zikes. Before my imagination runs wild again just watch the video...

The Apple tablet will surely find that it is an uphill battle for its very own realease of a tablet Mac. Dell already released the protype of Streak, the 5 inch WVGA 800x480 touch screen tablet.
It has wifi, blueetooth, and 3G WWAN connectivity. The back is adorned by a 5mega pixel camera with dual led flash. It has a 1300maH battery to power it up. There also appears to be a front facing camera which should be for video calls.
There maybe truth to the saying that good things come in small packages?

Windows 7
Microsoft launches product Windows 7 come hell or high water. Competitors have long been waiting for Microsoft to make one big blunder. Eagerly waiting to pounce on the software giant. Vista is that big blunder.
When Vista was released not more than 3 years ago, it had all the promise of a 21st century technology. New century, new milestones were the vision. There were new graphics and sound stacks. Improvements in security, networking and storage. The works.
Sadly, all these came with a price. And the price is a wee bit too steep for common users. It had high hardware requirements. Drivers that are slow, unreliable and non-existent. The reception of both vendors and users was either apathy or aversion especially for those who are extremely familiar with the user interface of Windows XP and 2000.
But Microsoft, with all the engineers and software programmers they have, immediately comes up with Windows 7 with all guns blazing to shut out its competitors. There is already a enormous buzz that has been generated. Users are already inquiring about Windows 7. Now the real test is coming.
Let's wait and find out how this product truly performs. Can 7 fill up all the inadequacies of Vista? Will it have the same confusing Tool Bars and Menu Bars? Will the blazing guns of microsoft engineers prevail? Or will this be the nail to the coffin which vista started?
In the mean time we bid adieu to Windows Vista. Let's all rejoice and say Hasta La Vista Baby!
What is this craze that is sweeping the corporate world? During lunch break all computer screens are literally filled with plants vs zombies. Before and after lunch break, well, apparently doesn't make any difference. All appears to be in a trance and time is in a stand still.
What work do these people accomplish? From the perspective of a close friend of mine they had a carreer shift from office work to agriculture. Read, get set, Plant!
Plants vs Zombies is a game. In your arsenal are different sets of plants with various capabilities. A pea shooter, a jalapeno bomb, a watermelon catapult a cactus balloon popper. You also have different types zombies attacking you. There is even a Michael Jackson zombie complete with a moonwalk dance move. How zany could this game be?
I was so curious by all the fuzz. When, I first watched the game from a friends laptop I chuckled. I even lambasted my friend what a total newbie he is for playing a game fit for first graders. So I decided to get got a copy of the game for my nephew and niece who will be staying with us during the Christmas Holiday.
Holiday season came and I started tutoring my niece and nephew on the rudiments of the game. I showed them what to do and what not to do. I gave the plenty of tips and advice. Eventually, I was the one playing and hogging the laptop. I even told them sorry it's my turn to play.
For some reason this game turned out to be comical and exciting at the same time. This could burn a few hours of your time easily. Apart from the adventure, you get to unlock several mini games, puzzles and survival mode.
Now, I understand all my friends who are staying up late trying to kick some zombie butt. To my friends, just be cautious and make sure that your left thumb is on alt and little pinkie is on tab. This should help you have a very quick response time when your bosses arrive.
